Save the Realm; Solve the Riddle

King Arwoyn Telluria dies in suspicious circumstances without an heir, and northern barbarian, Thandran Cadwell, sees an opportunity to invade the United Realm and seize the crown. Because her father is Captain of the Royal Guard, Alyssa Armstrong witnesses her home burned, her mother abducted, and her world destroyed. She runs for her life...right into the arms of slave trader Boris who sells her to arrogant Lord Brand de Fyre Elitas. Her new master has his own troubles, however, as Cadwell turns to target his family, causing him to flee with Elyssa to Tygel. There they meet up with Hieronymous Steele, ex-prime minister, who knows more than he lets on, and who has a fragment of a riddle that he claims could save the realm. 

Chasing pieces of the riddle, while evading the Baron, becomes a dangerous task. But as the three travel around the realm, finding bits of clues in hidden places, they meet Alysia's interesting inhabitants. Some steal their worldly possessions while others steal their hearts. Forest people who sing songs, a master sailor and his beautiful daughter, a wise-cracking swamper, and an Islandic spy are only a few who offer adventure and romance as the growing band desperately searches for answers unfolded by the riddle.

Braden Steele has wanted to be a starship captain ever since he could remember. But on Alysia, building spaceships and exploring space wasn't a priority until an alien probe crashes in the garden of the royal Ching T'Karre.

Across the ocean, Director Harrison Steele is eager to jumpstart a faltering space program. The probe may provide the spark. He convinces his government to establish a joint venture with their former enemy, the Ching T'Karre, in order to discover what alien presence might threaten their world and to build a space ship to explore the unknown universe. Sunpointe Academy becomes the training ground where the astronauts will be selected to crew the ship, and Braden desperately wants to be its captain. But his dream won't come easy.

Unfortunately, the two cultures clash. Too many want the program to fail, and some won't hesitate at murder to stop it.

Braden Steele and crew launch into space following a mysterious signal, searching for its origins.

But put twelve humans in a closed ship with no escape for an extended period of time and step back. Personalities clash and agendas conflict. Still, inside the ship isn't as dangerous as outside in the void of space where death lurks just  steps away. An alien stargate sucks the ship into  a new universe where they discover an unknown world and the sought-after aliens. Now, Braden and his crew must unite as they battle for their lives against vicious aliens.

So, be careful what you go looking for, you might find it ...past the event horizon.

 Secret Alien Genetics: Will they save us or doom us?

Over a church altar, Richard Steele encounters a holograph of his brother, Braden, transmitting from deep space. He warns Richard of a possible attack by hostile aliens and urges Richard to prepare Alysia to defend itself. Confusion, misinformation, and chaos ensues as everyone sees something different.

How many? When? What weapons? What do they look like? Braden winks out before he can fill in details.

Consequently, Richard scrambles to develop a defense, starting with an armed space station and ships. But problems develop, not the least of which is a bomb threat while Richard attends a space station wedding. Trying to concentrate on Alysia's defense, Richard gets diverted by a musical orphan girl who leads him to uncover a secret gene lab hidden in Bogtown that experiments with alien DNA.

But more than a diversion, the girl's unusual abilities might just be the key to saving the planet and Braden's life.

 Surviving an apocalypse and alien crystal smugglers

Richard watches devastation reign down on Alysia as a wayward comet strikes it smaller moon, Thanos. Once again, Richard takes up the task of saving Alysia, and once again, circumstances hamper him. His plane crashes during turbulent weather and entangles him, along with a prophetic young woman, in an illegal smuggling operation of wild alien crystal.

Alien crystals bond with certain humans to bring on extraordinary powers. Touching crystal is forbidden in the Ching T'Karre, but when smugglers kidnap the young impetuous princess, Sousarissa T'Kai, her stalwart bodyguard J'ai Jen D'Jang, along with Richard, risk all in order to save her.

Only to realize that there is a price to pay for touching crystal and a world to save before the two moons collide and destroy Alysia entirely.
