About Me

I'm a Northwest writer who lives among tall pines with a tech savvy husband (thank goodness) and two mischievous snowshoe Siamese cats. I was born in Annapolis, Maryland where my husband and I raced our sailboat on the Chesapeake and flew and owned various light airplanes.  I have had multiple careers as a high school English teacher, specialized banker, stockbroker, and art gallery manager.

I graduated from the University of Florida with both bachelors and Masters degrees. 

Now I live in the cool Northwest amid tall fir trees and write exciting science fiction stories or paint oil landscapes. 

I started my first story during a long boring drive home from a weekend vacation in Tahoe visiting friends. We passed a billboard that had the name, Penryn, written in an advertisement. I thought it was an interesting name for a place and began a story involving romance, time travel, and adventure. By the time I got home, I had a rough outline and from there continued working on a time travel romance series. I enjoyed the experience and over the last many years kept writing about the Alysian world. 

Now, I have a whole series. Read any one as a stand alone, but I hope that you enjoy it and go on to meet all the characters in this exciting universe.
